“G, you blowin’ me wit dis shit, right here!” I laughed to keep myself from snapping. “Like, I’on even—I gotta, bitch. You gotta introduction to shorty dat shoulda knocked some sense into you.”

“Oh, yeah, laugh at your crazy, hood chick trying to claw my eyes out.” She blew air from her mouth. “So fucking mature.”

“Aye, shit—You ain’t tryna hear none, so it is what it is.”

“Yeah, well, you don’t want to hear me.” She blurted out. “You never gave me a chance, and that’s what really blows.”

“Man, what?”

“I said, you didn’t give me a chance to love you like I wanted to or us just seeing where this relationship blossomed—”
